If you need to organize any kind of information at all (and I do mean any) you would probably benefit from
the 30-day trial of this product.
The approach is one of a simple grammar, with nouns, verbs, prepositions, and other familiar linguistic terms, whose MindModel meanings are largely consistent with their linguistic usage.
Underneath it all is a Microsoft business-quality true relational DBMS. The MindModel paradigm has laid an orderly and consistent grammar on top of it, so that once you understand the concepts of noun, verb, statement, subject, object, and collection, there is not much you cannot do.
A Web-server version makes it astonishingly easy to create a database-driven Web site. It’s sized for serious companies with serious needs, but is less expensive than most alternatives.
If you need to organize lots of information and are not a programmer but are serious about being able to get at all that information in very flexible ways without being locked in to a structure from the outset, and if you want to have everything up and running in a couple of days and are not put off by a $220/seat price, you should check this out.

MindModel
allows me to collect and interrelate the information vital to my business
as a technology consultant and web site developer.
It allows me to sort my data by multiple criteria, giving me the ability
to refine the types of communications I send to various groups.
As opposed to other relational databases, the learning curve for MindModel
is amazingly low.
Because it uses simple statements to store and sort data, I was able
to figure out the basic features of the program in one day by trying
the demo.
Being a creative and a technical person, I learn new things in different,
sometimes unusual ways. The technical support staff was patient, flexible
and committed to helping me not only use the program, but the underlying
concepts as well.
The value I've received in support of the MindModel product is unmatched
by any other company I've dealt with.

I
had been looking for a simple and effective way to leverage my consulting
and coaching information.
MindModel allows me simply to organise my documents so that I can
see which belong to which topic, which training module, which modules
have been used in which classes for which clients, and so on.
It enables me to bundle information so that I can look for new ways
to apply it to particular themes: a highly-creative process that models
how the mind really works!
Best of all, I can find my documents in seconds: gone are the days
of trawling through my folders.
I am also very pleased with the high quality support and the willingness
of the MindModel team to incorporate user suggestions in the software.

I use
MindModel every day, to manage my business as well as my personal
life, and I am very satisfied with the software.
MindModel is the best Knowledge Management tool that I have ever
used.
It's important to me to be able to to see all the people that I
know on one place, whether they are friends, business associates,
writers, film directors, etc.
The program works in a way that is natural to me. Best of all are
the facts that I discover using simple queries. The natural language
connections between records make relational database easy yet powerful.

Thank
you for your prompt response to my email. I now understand and I have
just bought the program. I
hope I can inspire all my clients to do the same and promote others
to follow suit.
In
my opinion MindModel is a break through in how to create user friendly
databases. The price is a give away. All good news all around.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. I just bought myself an excellent
Christmas gift.

I'm
loading my desktop MindModel with data on a daily basis.
I'm using MindModel on a notebook to track things to do, as a customer
relationship management (CRM) program, to build a dictionary of
computer-related acronyms, and to structure new knowledge.
I'm constantly finding more useful applications of MindModel.
I recommend MindModel to everyone not willing to write a tailor-made
database application, but needing one anyway.

I
have been looking for a program like this for years.
MindModel is a sort of ad-hoc object-oriented database. You create
objects like people, events, or even topical categories, and then
create relationships between these objects.
You can catalog anything, manage your contacts, manage your calendar,
and manage all those little tidbits of information that get thrown
at you each day. Integrates with the file system to manage documents.
Best of all, this software does not hold your data hostage. You can
export everything to an Excel spreadsheet at any time, and I understand
that XML export is in development.

One
of the best things that has happened to my office in recent months
is the discovery of a software program called MindModel. It has been
designed so the user can custom-organize information in ways that
allow tailoring it to varied and very specific needs.
For
example, I can bring up all the contacts I met through a certain
person; or I can recall people all belonging to the same organization,
or even people having graduated from the same school.
It
allows me to make very specific mailing lists, and also to keep
track of information about people and their interests so that when
I am reading an article I think they might like, I can send it to
them. In a business climate where we all are only as good as the
relationships we build, MindModel is the best tool I have found
to both simplify and enhance the process.

I just
wanted to write you and tell you how I am using MindModel and the
benefits that I am deriving from it.
I am
a very organized person. In my office, I religiously file everything
that I can clearly categorize. Unfortunately, there is always a
pile of papers, notes, ideas that have no home. This pile has typically
ranged from 6-12" in height and serves as a constant source of stress.
The questions that gnaw at me are the following: Will I be able
to find the paper when I need it? Is there something buried in the
pile that I should be attending to today? And on and on and on.
Now
I have MindModel. I have taken all of the information from the scraps
of paper and notes and input it into the system. My pile is down
to about 2" of the important things that I really need to focus
on right now. And best of all, the gnawing feeling that I might
be overlooking something important is gone.
Thanks
for your great product.

You
guys do the best customer support I've ever seen.
I finally bought MindModel. I downloaded it twice before and always
received very friendly, courteous, knowledgeable support.
You are a pleasure to do business with. Oh by the way, MindModel is
a steal at $99.

I have been using MindModel to help me prepare for Step 1 of the Medical
Boards. Besides enabling me to make links and associations between
the various systems and subsystems, it also allows me to study the
material "backwards and forwards," (ie, I can use descriptions or
other associated facts to check my understanding of the subject matter).
The support is superb. The developers are genuinely interested in
helping the users get the maximum benefits out of the program. When
I called the toll-free number, they explained to me in great detail
the best way to organize my data and also promptly answered my email
questions. When I made a suggestion that I thought would be useful,
they implemented it the next day and contacted me to download the
upgrade.

I have used MindModel in two areas: academic-university level course
planning and implementation, and lecture planning and presentation.
In
both areas MindModel improved the method and clarity of each presentation.
Time
to completion for each lecture was reduced at the same time that effectiveness
of delivery was increased.
I
can say without reservation that MM raised my efficiency in an area
where I possess over a decade of expertise. I am reasonably certain
that comprehension level for my audiences rose as well.
It
is important to note that my comments here are based on presentations
made before professional audiences at two conferences at Princeton
University and a third at the University of Washington. The level
of professional expectation in these forums is easily comparable to
those found in corporate arenas.

MindModel is a program that will track every part of your life.
All you have to do is put your information in once and MindModel
does the rest.
For
example, it relates who knows who, how they met, what they eat,
and everything else you would want to know.
I personally
have been using the software for about the last three months and
wish they had come out with it years ago. It has truly changed the
way I look at life. I am now able to recall almost every detail
from different parts of my life, people, places I've been, things
I like and don't like, things I used to forget in life, not only
work oriented but in my personal life as well.
Thanks
and I hope everyone comes to appreciate MindModel as much as I do.

When
I first learned about MindModel, I was skeptical about its potential
uses and benefits. As a student, I have a lot of information to
keep track of for my classes, but I did not understand how MindModel
could help me organize and manage it.
It
seemed to me that the amount of typing that would be required to
create a model wouldn't be worth the advantages of storing the information
in a model. However, after taking some time to try it, I found that
entering information was fast and easy, and the models that were
created worked perfectly to connect essential information together.
After
working with MindModel, I now know that MindModel can be useful
in storing any information, from my school classes to my personal
life.
